I believe in using good data to make good decisions, thinking outside the box, automation where it makes sense, coaching and mentoring, transparency, and strong ethics and integrity. I believe in customer service excellence, listening to understand, strategic planning and execution with frequent communications to stay on track and aligned. I am a firm believer that information technology when aligned with the business is a huge value-add to any company.
I have led local and international teams in both traditional and matrix organizations with OPEX budgets over $20M. I have led transformations of over $300M in savings, implemented data analytics with $40M in savings, and have restructured and redefined support models that transformed the user experience while reducing costs by $17M. I have co-written commercial software as well as led internal software development that transformed the bus manufacturing industry.
My skills are best used in leadership roles working directly with business leadership to establish IT organizations, build strategies, implement best practices, and drive transformations. I have experience in outsourcing, insourcing, contract negotiations, vendor management, training and mentoring, software development, infrastructure and cloud based applications and services, data analytics, six sigma, program management, security integration, IoT, data warehouses, ERP (SAP, QAD), disaster recovery, process optimizations, automation, and virtual systems.
